Capabilities: This individual can withstand all available UIU forms of amnestics. His mind is able to recall inhuman amounts of detail regarding observations made under stress. Subject also has an inverse to this ability, however. He cannot recall much of his own history and struggles to recall very basic things in daily life (when he wakes up, what he ate, etc.)
Purpose/Motive: The subject's ability extends to his work almost exclusively. His attention to recall detail while focusing reveals knowledge which otherwise should be impossible to ascertain. He is aware of this and sees it as a boon to his career.
Modus Operandi: Subject operated alone prior to UIU custody. Subject currently operates as an Agent on UIU behalf with a handler for observation purposes.
Behavior: Subject does not show obvious signs that he is in his 'vigilant' state. This ability seems to trigger when the subject focuses on the present.

Current Status: Subject is in Agent status with the UIU
Crimes: Two counts of voluntary manslaughter, Collection of PII
Sentencing: The individual will be retained and his new abilities regularly tested. He may be applicable as an Agent still and will be utilized by the UIU until no longer viable. Following that the individual is to be sentenced to long-term confinement.
History of UIU Action:
2013, Apr 12: Subject was recovered from a house in Topeka by UIU agents. With the Subject were bodies of two people identified as missing persons. Subject was catatonic and in possession of small box deemed anomalous.
2013, Apr 13: Subject is questioned under polygraph after awakening from fugue state. He recalls precisely every detail of what happened to him the week before entering the house. He claims to have no recollection of obtaining the box or the following events. However, he states that he is recalling more and more of his past he thought he had forgotten. Subject could not provide answers about the contents of the box. Subject treated with standard amnestics dosed at one month's erasure.
2013, Apr 16: Subject shows no sign of memory loss. He claims to recall the entire procedure of administration. Subject also recalls exact names, badge numbers, and physical characteristics of the UIU personnel he has been in contact with. Subject's dosage increased with highest available serum dosed at one year's erasure.
2013, Apr 18: Subject awakens from drug-induced state screaming for his mother (Dead since 2003). He claims to have seen her among the personnel in a dream. Subject reveals under questioning to still fully recall information regarding the staff and facilities as well as some degree of knowledge involving the personal life of his interviewer. It is now believed he is managing to make highly accurate inferences from his observations. Recommended further interviews take place through one-way glass and speaker. Special-case amnestics on order.
2013, Apr 27: Subject is treated with UIU experimental amnestics for final time. Subject enters comatose state for two weeks.
2013, May 12: Subject regains consciousness and claims to have forgotten details about himself. Subject asks to be interviewed. Subject is highly cooperative with staff, but is unable to answer questions regarding much of his service. He retains memory, however, of his time with the UIU and the events leading up to custody. Subject has lost most memory of his childhood, and polygraph shows not recognition of people from his past when shown photographs. Subject remains capable of creating new hyper-detailed memories, though the trigger for this is unclear. Subject moved to long-term confinement.
2013, May 31: UIU Special Applications Section recommends utilization of subject.
2013, Jun 14: Subject begins rehabilitation and is authorized to be attached as an accessory to ongoing investigations. Subject is not authorized to be armed and must be monitored extremely closely.
2013, July 1: Subject assists on new FBI murder case (No. 818-A4) as consultant. Subject shows difficulty remembering simple details of his travel.
2013, July 3: Subject's ability has led to the apprehension of the suspected murderer.
2013, Aug 9: Subject assisted in the closure of three cases in conjunction with UIU Agents.
2013, Dec 25: Subject closes a longstanding manhunt of ███████████████acked to a large warehouse in Long Island. Subject has shown great promise and his ability has not been hampered by his forgetfulness in routine affairs.
2014, Apr 13: The Subject has been operating successfully under direct supervision for nearly a year. His memories of the past have not returned. SAS recommends allowing him to handle cases with a partner to fill the role of handler.
