Name: Trenton C. Spears
Alias(es): Trent
Affiliation: Foundation
Role: Researcher - Historical Connections, etc.
Played by: MaximusTheLord
Physical Description: Trenton has been described as 'decidedly average' in build - He's somewhat tall, just over six feet, but doesn't really seem so due to bad posture. He has thick, mid-length brown-black hair; notably puts effort into making it look naturally messy. Has a light beard and thick eyebrows over slightly unfocused hazel eyes. His lab coat is a size too large, worn over a t-shirt and cargo pants. As he always rolls his sleeves above his elbows, his forearms are notably more tanned than his upper arms. Wears the exact same hiking boots every day, no matter the occasion.
Background: Orphaned at a young age, Trent spent most of his time absorbed in various literature and classical music, which birthed his interest in human culture. Being rather bright, He passed through his schooling without too much hassle before studying european history, anthropology and english literature in college; he was likely on a path for a career as a professor, but instead felt compelled to join the United States army following the 9/11 bombings. During his service, His unit had a run-in with the ORIA, who were in a race against the Foundation to claim an escaped SCP; Actions that Trent had taken were instrumental in the foundation recovering the anomalous object. After the cleanup, he was questioned by foundation personnel about the incident, and after some deliberation, he was offered a job, and has worked for the foundation ever since.
Profile: Due to his background, Trenton does not have well-developed social skills, and sometimes has issues working with people. Badly-timed jokes and insensitive comments are not uncommon, though he tries to be friendly and outgoing.
An important facet of Trenton’s personality is his idealism; mostly due to the amount of culturally-rich material he has had access to throughout his life, he has a strong love for mankind in a broad, impersonal sense. A major part of why he decided to join the Foundation was because he felt obligated to help and protect humanity, which appeals to his taste for science fiction. Due to this, he is often compelled to put himself in danger’s way for the sake of foundation and ‘mankind’.
